Cliff Latham
Arts Pillar
Cliff Latham is a Husband, Father, Pastor, Artist, Producer, Musician, Songwriter, and self-proclaimed "Choir Boy to the core"; from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. His love and passion for music was discovered at an early age. It grew and took him across the Bible Belt as he played drums for his grandfather’s quartet group at age six. During his high school years, he was not only the church
organist and choir director, but also one of the city's top Hip-Hop producers. Cliff produced and
recorded his first Gospel and R&B projects before graduating in 2001.

After graduation Cliff moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana where he partnered with his father in ministry. During his stay he connected with Paul Harding High School and Indiana Tech University as their Gospel Choir Director. With a heart for ministering and serving, in 2003 Latham formed Brighter Day Music which was geared to developing the talents, gifts and minds of a younger generation. In 2006 he accepted his call to preach the gospel. It was in this season where God's Word, paired with his music abilities, led him on a songwriting spree of over 400 songs in a span of two years. Many of those songs have been featured on Gospel, Hip-Hop and R&B artist’s projects, performed in various concerts and Sunday morning services.
In 2007, Latham moved back to Tuscaloosa and formed the Alabama chapter of Brighter Day. This
afforded him opportunities to travel and share the stage with many amazing artists and musicians. After serving there for a season he then relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2011. There he served as
Worship Pastor at some of America's fastest growing mega ministries. While in Indy he established the Indianapolis chapter of Brighter Day and directed the Gospel Choir at Lawrence North High School for over seven years. During his time there he recorded a high school Gospel Choir album entitled & Thank You”, which was a first in Indiana High School history. The album's success took them on a small in-state tour giving them the opportunity to open for national recording artists such as Jekayln Carr, Kierra Sheard, J. Moss and others.
Serving the youth at Lawrence North was more than just music to Latham. He was a mentor, pastor, counselor and at times father for many students who still to this day remain connected to him. The opportunities gathered from the excitement of seeing the youth and their dreams become reality sparked a vision in Latham to expand Brighter Day’s reach beyond singing to dancing, music production and other areas of the arts. Cliff currently serves as the new Student Pastor at New Covenant Worship Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, serving high school, college students, young adults and those who are young at heart. He also serves as the Gospel Choir Director at Miami and Lakeside Middle Schools.
On January 1, 2022, he will be launching a worship experience called “The Saturday Night Outpour’’, aka, The S.N.O.”. This encounter is designed to reach not only Fort Wayne’s youth but non-believers as well through explosive worship, practical preaching, love and care. Latham has a heart to introduce all to Christ, develop leaders and pour back into the community. Thus, it is Latham’s ultimate goal and desire to combine The Brighter Day Arts Academy with The S.N.O. in an effort to create a long-lasting transformation and positive impact in our city.
